23 write-in candidates have filed in Kentucky to run for president

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Oct. 28, 2016) — Twenty-three write-in candidates have filed in Kentucky to run for president in the Nov. 8 General Election, said Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes. The filing deadline was 4 p.m. today.

The write-in candidates include six presidential candidates from Kentucky.

Write-in candidates have also filed to run for the offices of U.S. Senate, U.S. Representative—1st District, State Representative—4th District, and an unexpired term for 25th Circuit Family Court Judge.
