
Has been assistant VP of Planning and Development
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 13, 2016) — Patricia T. “Patty” Mason has been promoted to vice president of Strategy and Marketing for Baptist Health. Since October 2013, she had served as assistant vice president of Planning and Development at the Louisville headquarters, following six years as vice president of Planning, Marketing and Business Development for Baptist Health Lexington.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Mason was vice president for Strategy and Business Development for St. Joseph Healthcare in Lexington for 19 years.
She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Kentucky. Mason has served on many local and state boards, including two terms as president of the Kentucky HealthCare Strategy Forum, numerous Kentucky Hospital Association committees, and has also served as chair of the Kentucky Hospital Association Bluegrass District Board.
Mason is a past recipient of the Women of Achievement Award, the Wade Mountz Visionary Award and Business Leader of the Year from the National Business Advisory Council.
She and her husband James have one adult daughter, Elizabeth.
