Cincinnati-based executive recruiting firm well-versed in non-profit executive placement
FT. MITCHELL, Ky. (Jan. 29, 2014) â Baldwin Gilman will serve as the official recruitment firm for the Northern Kentucky Chamberâs executive search for its new president. The firm was chosen after a national search that included consideration of 11 executive recruitment organizations. Baldwin Gilman will assist the Northern Kentucky Executive Search Committee, a 14-member team of community leaders, in selecting the next leader for the 45-year old chamber.
âWe believe that Baldwin Gilmanâs regional business ties and network of Chamber, executive and economic development leaders will serve our needs well,â said Debbie Simpson, chair of the board for the Northern Kentucky Chamber. âThis leadership transition provides a critical opportunity for our community as we consider new priorities for growth and opportunities for collaboration. We selected a search firm with deep experience in executive placement who can help us attract top talent to our regionâ.
Chamber President Steve Stevens is departing the chamber after 20 years, including eight years as president. Brent Cooper, president of C-Forward Inc. in Covington, has been named the interim chamber president and will lead the regionâs largest business organization during the search.
Karen Finan, formerly a senior vice president with Northern Kentucky Tri-ED, is leading the search effort for Baldwin Gilman.
