LEXINGTON, KY (Sept. 26, 2012) â Keeneland announced today that it has cataloged 3,958 horses for its 2012 November Breeding Stock Sale, scheduled for Nov. 6-16.
Catalogs will be available electronically via Keenelandâs website, www.keeneland.com, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 2. Print catalogs will be mailed the week of Oct. 16.
The total cataloged includes 1,890 broodmares and broodmare prospects, 1,691weanlings, 363 horses of racing age, four yearlings, nine stallions and one share in Macho Uno.
âThe November Sale is unmatched in terms of the selection of stakes-winning and stakes-producing fillies and mares in foal to the worldâs leading sires, as well as foals by todayâs most fashionable stallions,â said Walt Robertson, vice president of sales. âThat international appeal sets it apart from any other sale of its kind in the world.â
The November Sale will feature mares in foal to 232 of the worldâs most exciting stallions, including Arch, Bernardini, Blame, Cape Blanco (IRE), Distorted Humor, Drosselmeyer, Elusive Quality, Empire Maker, Eskendereya, Exchange Rate, Galileo (IRE), Giantâs Causeway, Hard Spun, Lonhro (AUS), Lookin At Lucky, Malibu Moon, Medaglia dâOro, Montjeu (IRE), Paddy OâPrado, Pulpit, Quality Road, Rip Van Winkle, Scat Daddy, Smart Strike, Speightstown, Street Cry (IRE), Tapit, Tiznow, Trappe Shot, Unbridledâs Song, Uncle Mo and War Front, among others.
Weanlings representing 203 top stallions, such as Arch, Awesome Again, Bernardini, Blame, Cape Cross (IRE), Distorted Humor, Elusive Quality, Eskendereya, Exchange Rate, Galileo (IRE), Giantâs Causeway, Hard Spun, High Chaparral (IRE), Indian Charlie, Lookin At Lucky, Malibu Moon, Medgalia dâOro, Pulpit, Quality Road, Ravenâs Pass, Scat Daddy, Smart Strike, Speightstown, Street Cry (IRE), Tapit, Tiznow, Unbridledâs Song and War Front, are cataloged.

Keeneland announced earlier that it would delay the start of its November Sale by one day to better accommodate horsemen attending the Breedersâ Cup World Championships at Santa Anita on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2-3.
