The former Challenger Learning Center, which closed last year as another casualty of rocky economic times, has taken on new life as a regional education center. The center will house classes from six different institutions: Lindsey Wilson College, Midway College, Sullivan University, Webster University, Tandem Solutions and the McConnell Technology and Training Center. The Radcliff Challenger Learning Center opened in 2000, one of more than 50 such centers that were formed as a tribute to the crew of Challenger space shuttle who perished when the shuttle exploded shortly after launching in 1986.
