Competing for Paul’s Senate seat
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 31, 2016) — Republican Sen. Rand Paul and Lexington Mayor Jim Gray, a Democrat, will debate tonight at 8 in the only debate between the candidates vying for Paul’s U.S. Senate seat. The hour-long debate will appear on KET at 8 p.m.
Paul is completing his first term in office, while Gray is the two-term mayor of Lexington.
This will mark only the third time the candidates have appeared in public at the same event, following the Fancy Farm picnic in August and the Red White and Blue forum last week in Owensboro.
