Current VP for development
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 2, 2016) — The Downtown Lexington Corp. has named Kathryn Minton interim director. Minton, the vice president for development, has been with the nonproft since 2007.
Minton earned a master’s degree in business administration from Midway University and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Kentucky.
Renee Shepard, the current president and executive director, last month announced her resignation effective Sept. 24. Shepard has led the nonprofit that produces many popular downtown events for 10 years.
