30-year veteran of Thoroughbred industry
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 18, 2013) ā Amy Gregory, a 30-year veteran of the Thoroughbred industry, has been named director of communications at Keeneland, the racetrack announced Monday. A native of Henderson, Ky., Gregory will begin her new role immediately.

Gregory had been serving as media relations manager at Keeneland, where she provides media relations, public relations and communications expertise for the companyās racing, sales and simulcast operations.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, Gregory began her career as a writer for the Thoroughbred Record trade publication before moving to Breedersā Cup Limited as a communications specialist.
She joined Keeneland in 2006 after 18 years with Churchill Downs Inc., where she was director of governmental and tegulatory affairs and director of media and investor relations.
