Dan-O’s Seasoning growing into new Louisville offices

Dan-O’s Seasoning was founded in Louisville in 2015 by Dan Oliver and grown into a national brand on the strength of great social media success in marketing its low-salt product line.

LOUISVILLE — Dan-O’s Seasoning is moving into new offices to keep up with the brand’s continued growth as one of the fastest-growing brands in the seasoning category. The new location will accommodate their rapid expansion fostering stronger cross-functional collaboration and culture and more innovation.

Dan-O’s has outgrown its office space and plans to continue to inspire people in the kitchen and outside of it with its content and flavorful products. With more than 40 employees, Dan-O’s expects to move into a building on Terra Crossings Boulevard in eastern Jefferson County in December 2024.

The company is the first signed tenant of The West, a retail/commercial facility directly off I-265 with interstate visibility. Dan-O Seasoning’s corporate offices will now be housed on the first floor of the three-story 72,000-s.f. space, which will include a test kitchen to develop more flavor and the one-of-a-kind digital content the Dan-O’s brand is known for. The building has a lounge, coffee bar and greenspace courtyards, which will emphasize flexibility for workers.

“Dan-O’s Seasoning hasn’t stopped growing since we exploded on TikTok in 2020,” said Phil Crosby, CEO. “This move gives our existing team members room to work in an environment that inspires the creativity that fuels our product and the fun behind our brand, and it also allows us to grow our team as demand increases across the country.”

Dan-O’s Seasoning was founded by Dan Oliver, a Louisville native, in 2015. Central to the company’s mission are seasoning products using high quality, premium ingredients full of flavor with less salt. Its whirlwind rise is marked by 4.5 million followers and 75.6 million likes on TikTok. Products now available at more than 18,000 retailers including Kroger, Walmart, Albertson’s, Safeway, Publix and more.

The new location is shared with Thornton’s headquarters, Galen College of Nursing’s 11-acre campus, Digenis Plastic Surgery Institute, ARGI Financial Group, UofL Health, Primrose School, Mercedes Benz, Harley Davidson and Publix Grocery. The building was designed by Work Architecture + Design with the “healthy workplace” model in mind. This means that adaptability in the office space is imperative for successful businesses in order to account for possible economic, climate or health disruptions in the future. It includes increased ventilation, sterilization and filtration; many semiprivate outdoor courtyards; and natural daylight with floor-to-ceiling glass.
