LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers), a nationally recognized engineering firm, is pleased to announce Patrick Fernbach, PE, WELL AP, director or mechanical engineering, has been named a principal of the firm. The appointment supports KLH’s strategic growth initiatives as it continues to build on its strong momentum and innovative service offerings.
Fernbach joined as a co-op student in 2013 and transitioned to a full-time employee in 2017. As director of mechanical engineering, Fernbach oversees the mechanical department’s use of innovative design solutions and workflows, manages staffing models, guides professional development plans for team members, and helps facilitate ideation of new technologies that enhance mechanical design.
Fernbach also leads KLH’s teaming partnership with mechanical contractors on design-build, design for manufacturing and install, and supply chain integration.
