Centrifugal Technologies, a parts and service company specializing in the remanufacturing of centrifugal air compressors, recently completed an expansion of its facility in Mayfield. The five-year-old company has doubled the size of its building from 13,000 square feet to 26,000 square feet, which has enabled the company to add new equipment. In addition, the company anticipates adding 25 full-time positions with average hourly wages of $21.50 (exclusive of benefits) within the next two years. Centrifugal Technologies has been approved for tax benefits up to $600,000 under the Kentucky Rural Economic Development Act, an incentive program designed to attract and expand manufacturing in the state.
