Riken Elastomers Corp. has opened a $20 million plastics plant on 24 acres in Christian County’s Commerce Park. Riken manufactures and sells high-performance plastics compounds primarily used in the automotive industry for applications such as interior and exterior window parts, roof and belt molding products. Riken currently employs a staff of 12 and anticipates adding more employees within the next two years.
