The Kentucky Department for Local Government has awarded a $680,000 community development block grant to support a new manufacturing company in Lincoln County. The Lincoln County Fiscal Court will use the funds to purchase equipment for a capitalize lease to Tin Man Manufacturing LLC, a new company that will be located in the Stanford-Lincoln County Industrial Park. Tin Man will produce rolled steel for roofing panel and parts and trusses for commercial building and construction industries. Tin Man will create 34 new jobs over a two-year period with an emphasis on hiring low- to moderate-income individuals. The new jobs will be a combination of unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled, sales and clerical.
