LOUISVILLE, Ky. ā Bellarmine University is launching a Master of Health ScienceĀ in Biomedical Sciences program.
It is an accelerated masterās degree designed to enhance studentsā medical school application. Students also may use the credential for a career in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, health education, health care administration, and other fields.
The program will include MCAT preparation and career advisement in a combination of face-to-face clinical immersion sessions and online instruction.
Over the course of one calendar year, students will receive face-to-face instruction at Bellarmine for a 9-credit intensive summer session, and two 13-credit semesters of online instruction with clinical immersion. Among the elective course offerings is a 3-credit course on medical school preparation.
This program is ideal for students who have completed a pre-medical bachelorās degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. A list of prerequisites, along with the schedule, curriculum, and tuition information can be found on the MHS-BS program webpage.
Bellarmine is now accepting applications for the 2022 class, which will begin next May.
