FRANKFORT, Ky. — Steven M. Herbert was named executive director of the office of investments at Kentucky Retirement Systems inFrankfort. He will take on the $20 billion pension fund’s top investment management position Jan. 16.
Herbert previously was vice president and chief operating officer at Augustine Asset Management, a wealth management firm. He replaces Rich Robben, who left KRS on Sept. 30 along with Andy Kiehl, deputy executive director of the office of investments. They both joined investment consultant AndCo Consulting as field consultants in October.
