ACTORS THEATRE OF LOUISVILLE

• Todd P. Lowe has been named board president of Actors Theatre of Louisville. Lowe is president of Parthenon LLC, an independent registered investment advisory firm. Newly named board members include: Natalia Bishop, founder and chief of happiness at Level Up & Story Louisville; David Tate, managing partner at BKD CPAs & Advisors; Corrie Shull, senior pastor of Burnett Avenue Baptist Church; and David Dove, CEO of Payment Alliance International.

AMERICAN OPTOMETRIC ASSOCIATION

• Dr. Bill Reynolds has been named president of the American Optometric Association. Reynolds has optometry practices in Richmond and Lexington.

AMERICAN TELEMEDICINE ASSOCIATION

• Dr. Robert Caudill has been inducted into the American Telemedicine Association College of Fellows. Caudill is professor and director of telemedicine and information technology programs at the University of Louisville’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

BEREA COLLEGE

• William S. “Bill” Daugherty has been elected to the Berea College board of trustees. Daugherty is a co-founder and serves as a managing partner of BlackRidge Resource Partners.

BLUE GRASS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

• The Blue Grass Community Foundation has announced its officers for fiscal year 2021: Chair—Fran Taylor, owner/partner of Lexington Silver LLC; Vice Chair—Andy Reynolds, chief operating officer, Ballast; Treasurer—Art Salomon, founder and CEO of Salomon & Co.; and Secretary—Travis Musgrave, Merrill Lynch wealth management adviser with Musgrave Dunn & Associates. • David Samford has been appointed to Kentucky’s Executive Branch Ethics Committee. Samford, of Lexington, is an attorney for Goss Samford PLLC.

• Ron Christian and Philippe Garnier have been named to the Gateway Community and Technical College Foundation Board. Christian retired in 2019 as executive vice pres-ident at Vectren Corp. Garnier is CEO of Safran Landing Systems Kentucky.

KENTUCKY 911 SERVICES BOARD

• Michael Johnson, of Ivel, has been named to the Kentucky 911 Services Board. Johnson is director of technical operations for East Kentucky Network.

• Erica Lemberger has been appointed as a member of the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Lemberger is a professor of nursing at Spalding University.

KENTUCKY CENTER FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN HERITAGE

• Alvin Garrison and Linda Sublett-Buckner have been named as members of the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage. Garrison, of Covington, is the superintendent of Covington Independent Public Schools. Sublett-Buckner, of Glasgow, is retired.

KENTUCKY CENTER FOR ASSISTED LIVING

KENTUCKY CIRCUIT COURT CLERKS’ TRUST FOR LIFE

• Henry County Circuit Court Clerk Gina Lyle has been named the 2020-2021 board president of the Kentucky Circuit Court Clerk’s Trust for Life. TFL works to educate and encourage Kentuckians to register as organ and tissue donors.

KENTUCKY HORSE PARK COMMISSION

• Stewart Perry has been appointed to the Kentucky Horse Park Commission. Perry is a State Farm insurance agent with Perry and Perry Insurance, one of Lexington’s oldest insurance agencies. 

KENTUCKY OIL AND GAS ASSOCIATION

• The Kentucky Oil and Gas Association has announced its 2020-2021 executive committee: President—Maverick Bentley, Diversified Gas & Oil; President-elect—Wes Cate, Eco-Energy; Immediate Past President—Mark Hughes, Hughes Land; and Treasurer—John Henderson, Stoll Keenon Ogden. • Kent Chandler has been appointed as a member of the Kentucky Public Service Commission.

KENTUCKY TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY TRUST FUND

• Ben Crittenden and Dr. Kimathi Doss have been named to the board of the Kentucky Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Fund. Crittenden, of Lexington, is an attorney at Morgan Potter McGarvey. Doss, of Prospect, is a neurosurgeon at Norton Healthcare.

LOUISVILLE ARENA AUTHORITY

• Andrew Owen has been appointed to the board of directors of the Louisville Arena Authority. Owen, of Louisville, is a real estate agent for Preston Thomas Properties.

LOUISVILLE SPORTS COMMISSION

• The Louisville Sports Commission has announced its officers for fiscal year 2021: Chair—Philip S. • Kevin Nolan has been named as Metro (Louisville) United Way’s 2020 community investment chair. Nolan is president and CEO of GE Appliances, a Haier company.

MOREHEAD STATE UNIVERSITY

• The Morehead State University board of regents has elected the following individuals as officers: Chair—Kathy Walker; Vice Chair—Eric Howard; Treasurer—Mary Fister-Tucker; and Secretary—Jacqueline Graves.

OHIO HEALTH CARE ASSOCIATION

• Chris Chirumbolo has been elected to the Ohio Health Care Association board of directors and has been named co-chair of the congregate care/living steering committee of the Ohio Zone 3 COVID-19 Multi-Agency Coalition. Chirumbolo, of Cold Spring, is CEO of Carespring, a senior care organization that has facilities throughout southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

PREVENT CHILD ABUSE KENTUCKY

• Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky has announced its board leadership for 2020-2021: President—Jordan Parker, Traditional Bank; Vice President—Jeremy Murrell, Kentucky State Police; and Secretary/Treasurer—Dawn B. Harlow, Kentucky League of Cities.
