The latest figures released by the Northern Kentucky ezone, a division of Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corp. (Tri-ED), show that 189 jobs were created as a result of its work with entrepreneurs in the region between July 1, 2008, and June 30, 2009. During this time period, the ezone assisted 29 new high-tech companies in Northern Kentucky and assisted in generating $14 million in investment for client companies from venture and angel funds. The average annual salary paid to high-tech workers by ezone client companies was $77,343.
