
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Blue Grass Community Foundation announced recently the addition of Lauren Parsons as BGCF’s first director of strategic initiatives and communications.
Parsons is a licensed attorney with more than a decade of marketing experience.
She earned a law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2008, and a B.A. in political science and public relations from Western Kentucky University in 2004.
Parsons is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and Crestwood Christian Church, a graduate of Leadership Lexington and Get on Board, and a volunteer for Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass.
New board officers for FY20
Blue Grass Community Foundation has elected the following officers of the board for FY20: Chair: Fran Taylor, owner/partner of Lexington Silver, LLC; Vice Chair: Travis Musgrave, wealth management advisor with Merrill Lynch; Secretary: Salvador Sanchez, owner of A Cup of Commonwealth, Chocolate Holler and Magic Beans Coffee Roasters; Treasurer: Andy Reynolds, COO of Ballast.
