Midway College has been awarded $500,000 from the James Graham Brown Foundation for the college’s new $5 million Learning Resource Center, which is currently under construction. Midway President Dr. William Drake said the project is directly related to the college’s strategic initiative to dramatically increase enrollment over the next five years and targets all facets of the college’s mission: the women’s college, the school for career development and online programs. The building is scheduled to be complete in January of 2011.
