BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED) held its annual Kentucky Economic Forum Nov. 7-9. Ron Bunch, president and CEO of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, was named board chair for 2019.

Bunch will begin his term Jan. 1, 2019.

KAED consists of more than 600 members representing 355 unique companies. The Kentucky Economic Forum is a three-day, multifaceted event highlighting the over 300 members of KAED, and is centered around educational and professional development opportunities. Bunch was given the opportunity to speak and provide his vision and strategies for KAED in the year ahead.

“I am honored to have been elected as 2019 board chair for KAED,” Bunch said. “My main mission for the upcoming year is to further the #TeamKentucky collaboration by uniting the economic development professionals across the commonwealth toward a common statewide economic development brand and marketing strategy.”
